Part IV: How to Get Ripped. Forever.

Youll see images of actors who get in amazing shape for a movie. Much is made of their transformation. Everyone wants to know what they did and how they achieved such impressive results. And then you hear about their training and the hours upon hours of hard work they put in to achieve these results. This is when people lose interest.

Its true, theres no substitute for hard work. Unless, of course, you compare it to smart work.

The problem with these transformations that actors go through, is that as soon as the movie is finished, they find themselves right back into their usual lifestyle.

National Walking Day

I start walking and then I stop. Then I start walking again, and then I stop. I know I sound like the “I lift things up and put them down” guy on the Planet Fitness commercial, but seriously, I do this over and over again.

I know walking is good for me and every so often, I decided to start a regime. Then, for whatever reason – I get sick, I get busy, I forget – I stop again.

Last time I went to the doctor, my cholesterol was bad, so I know I need to start moving again.

Starbucks or Starbugs?

You would think that paying $5 or so for a cup of coffee would get you only the best ingredients. But, some Starbucks customers are upset because they have just learned they may be paying for crushed insects in their Strawberry and Crème Frappuccinos.

Yes, it sounds like a bad episode of “Fear Factor,” but apparently it is true. You may be wondering how bugs could end up in a nice frothy drink like a Frappuccino, but it actually comes from the coloring. The skins and bodies of Peru’s cochineal beetles are crushed to make the food coloring. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the use of cochineal extract.

Tips to Keep You Safe While Biking or Jogging Outside

Public health officials have been encouraging Americans of all ages to walk and bike more to decrease and improve overall health. Now that the weather is warmer, we just might be inclined to follow their advice.

On beautiful days, its tempting to just throw on your shoes and go for a quick run, or dust off the for a nice ride and not think twice about safety.

Not only do you need to be aware of safety but also what do if you possibly encounter a dangerous situation. Here are some things to consider before you head outside:
